THE FINGER TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM ON MARCH,15th
Thessaloniki, Feb.9,2012 — “I Don’t Believe My Eyes”,the long awaited debut album by The Finger, will be released on March,15th.
The band’s debut album, consists of 11 songs, that summarize all the members influences, in order to create a unique sound. Influences that don’t come only from the world of music, but from the imaginative world of movies too. Glorious trumpets, cinematic string arrangements,ethereal soundscapes and catchy guitar riffs take these rocking tunes to another level,making it infectious.
Anyone could find a little bit of themselves in this album.A doomed romance, a nostalgic feeling of someone you lost, an anger that makes you wanna scream. .
The album was recorded at Underground Sound Studio, under the guidance of Sotiris Noukas, member of the band and one of the most respected producers in Greece.Recordings began in January 2011, with “Too Slow”, one of the album’s loudest tracks and ended with “Brain Stroke”, another danceable and loud track.
“We are incredibly happy and satisfied with the result of this album. We have put a tremendous amount of energy and heart in these songs, so we know it’s gonna find the way into people’s hearts” say the members about the album release.
About the band: The Finger, comprised of vocalist Lia Siouti, guitarist Sotiris Noukas, guitarist Sakis Azas, bassist Andy Haralanis and drummer Nick Ditsias, is a band that comes from Thessaloniki, Greece and creates fresh and addictive rock tunes. Said to be one of Greece’s most up and coming new bands, the Finger introduced their sound, by hitting the airwaves internationally with the release of their debut single “Die! Die Superhero!” ,followed by a similar success of the next single “In A Fragment Of Time”.

Θεσσαλονίκη, 9 Φεβρουαρίου, 2012 — Οι The Finger κυκλοφορούν το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ τους “I Don’t Believe My Eyes”, στις 15 Μαρτίου 2012.
Η πενταμελής μπάντα των The Finger, αποτελείται από τους Λία Σιούτη, Σωτήρη Νούκα, Σάκη Αζά, Ανδρέα Χαραλάνη και Νίκο Ντίτσια και έρχονται από την Θεσσαλονίκη, για να δημιουργήσουν μια σειρά από σύγχρονες και εθιστικές ροκ μελωδίες. Το πρώτο άλμπουμ του συγκροτήματος, αποτελείται απο 11 κομμάτια, τα οποία συνοψίζουν τις επιρροές των μελών, δημιουργώντας έναν μοναδικό ήχο. Επιρροές οι οποίες έρχονται όχι μόνο από τον κόσμο της μουσικής αλλά και από τον φαντασιώδη κόσμο του κινηματογράφου. Μεγαλειώδεις τρομπέτες, κινηματογραφικά βιολιά, αιθέριοι ήχοι και πρωτότυπα κιθαριστικά ριφ, συνθέτουν μια ορχηστρική ατμόσφαιρα και ανεβάζουν αυτές τις ροκ μελωδίες σε ένα άλλο επίπεδο, καθιστώντας το άκρως μεταδοτικό. ‘Ολοι μπορούν να βρούν ένα κομμάτι από τον εαυτό τους σε αυτό το άλμπουμ, καθώς στιχουργικά, ασχολείται με όλες τις πλευρές της ζωής μας. Πίστη, αγάπη, θάνατο.
Το άλμπουμ ηχογραφήθηκε στο Underground Sound Studio, στην Θεσσαλονίκη, υπό την καθοδήγηση του Σωτήρη Νούκα, μέλος του συγκροτήματος και ένας από τους πιο αξιοσέβαστους παραγωγούς στην Ελλάδα. Οι ηχογραφήσεις ξεκίνησαν τον Ιανουάριο του 2011, με το “Too Slow”, ένα απο τα πιο δυνατά κομμάτια του άλμπουμ και τελείωσαν με το “Brain Stroke”, ένα ακόμα χορευτικό και ραδιοφωνικό κομμάτι.” Είμαστε απόλυτα ικανοποιημένοι με το αποτέλεσμα. Έχουμε βάλει απίστευτη ενέργεια και ψυχή σε αυτόν τον δίσκο και για αυτό ξέρουμε οτι θα βρεί τον δρόμο του προς τισ καρδιές του κόσμου” λένε τα μέλη του συγκροτήματος.
Οι The Finger, μία από τις ανερχόμενες μπάντες της Ελλάδος, συστήθηκαν στο κοινό, με την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου τους σινγκλ “Die! Die Superhero!”, το οποίο έγινε ευρέως γνωστό μέσα απο τις αναμεταδόσεις σε ελληνικά και ξένα ραδιόφωνα.
Το εξώφυλλο του δίσκου έχει επιμεληθεί ένας καταπληκτικός Ελληνας καλλιτέχνης, ο Πάνος Τσαγκάρης.
